EMDR Individual Intensive
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Intensive

An EMDR individual intensive is an accelerated form of EMDR Therapy for people who want to focus on healing in order to achieve faster and lasting results. This condensed format of therapy can remove weeks, months, and years of living with unpleasant symptoms.
An EMDR Intensive typically entails 4-7 hour sessions per day for 1-5 consecutive days. While this may sound like a lot, EMDR Therapy is different than traditional talk psychotherapy. In fact, most people are delighted and surprised by how quickly the time passes.
Achieve faster and lasting results.
An experienced and highly trained EMDR clinician guides individuals through the healing process, helping transform distressing or disturbing experiences into neutral ones. Negative self-beliefs shift into positive ones, while emotional and physical discomfort fades, bringing clarity and relief. With the clinician’s expertise in EMDR therapy and the brain’s natural ability to heal, an intensive format allows for significantly deeper processing and resolution compared to traditional week-to-week therapy sessions.

Should an intensive not be the best fit, alternative treatment recommendations will be provided to better meet your needs.
Yes, every intensive includes a post-intensive consultation to review your progress and offer tailored recommendations for ongoing support.
If additional concerns arise after the post-intensive consultation, feel free to reach out via phone or email, and we can schedule a follow-up.
