Healing RetreatS for Women
Healing that stays with you long after you leave.
“I don’t know what it is about the EMDR, but I feel different.”
I hear some version of that at every healing retreat. After nearly three decades of clinical work, I wanted to create something that went beyond education, inspiration, and a feel-good experience.
I want you to walk through the doors feeling cared for and safe. More importantly, I want you to leave feeling genuine relief from the wounds that brought you here.

arKardia healing retreats are built around an advanced EMDR-based clinical model designed for concentrated group healing.
Each three-day retreat includes eight EMDR sessions delivered within a structured framework, supported by somatic work, experiential integration activities, and faith-informed reflection.
Women travel from across the country to participate. Some are referred by therapists, physicians, ministry leaders, and former participants. Others simply reach a point where they are tired of just surviving.
Every retreat is intentionally limited to four women who share a common wound and a common hope. Relational wounds are isolating in ways that are difficult to describe. For many women, this is the first time they have said the hard thing out loud and watched someone across the room nod because they truly understand.
The work is also outcome-informed. I use pre- and post-retreat measures because I want to know the treatment is working and, more importantly, that the relief experienced here remains when you return home and begin living your life again.
Healing should not end when the retreat does.

Ariséa™ is designed for women navigating the aftermath of betrayal trauma, including the fracturing of safety, trust, identity, and self-worth that often follows.
Many women arrive carrying self-blame, hypervigilance, a deep distrust of their own judgment, and the relentless feeling that somehow they were not enough. They understand what happened. They just haven’t been able to put it down.
Over three days, the work moves beneath the story, into what it left in the body, in the beliefs you carry, and in your sense of self. The goal is to help you rise above the weight of what happened, not simply understand it.
Investment: $1,500
2026 Dates: Sept 9-11 · Nov 2-4

Sozara™ is designed for women navigating the grief and the question that often follows divorce, “Now what?” Divorce is rarely a single loss. It is often the collapse of many things at once: dreams, expectations, routines, identity, security, future plans, and sometimes even community.
Many women arrive having spent years accommodating, surviving, or holding everything together, often setting aside parts of themselves along the way. They know what they lost. They just don’t know who they are without it.
The work moves through honoring what was, understanding what you quietly carried, and stepping into who you’re becoming. The goal is to help you find yourself again.
Investment: $1,500
2026 Dates: Oct 23-25 · Nov 5-7
